The Fourth Industrial Revolution? We’ve Got You Covered.

Hello Marketers!

The fact is, we’re living in a working environment that is constantly evolving and, in some cases, unpredictable. It’s not enough to graduate with a degree and coast through your career into retirement. You need to skill, reskill and likely reskill again to what some are calling the Fourth Industrial Revolution. That’s where AMADC comes in. Our chapter is committed to igniting a passion for marketing, a spirit of innovation, and a dogged pursuit of knowledge, career excellence and success for our members. This August, our board gathered to build out a programming calendar that would provide the greater DC marketing community with three things: fresh content, relevant speakers and inspirational spaces ripe for the exchange of ideas. Our all-volunteer team of marketing and communications professionals keeps a pulse on the ever-changing local industry. We’re constantly learning—striving to be better tomorrow—and looking for ways to inspire our membership to do the same. As Bill Gates and Warren Buffet would tell you: If you’re not spending 5 hours per week learning, you’re being irresponsible.

For the last 8+ years of my membership, AMADC has served as a gateway for deliberate learning. My hope is that it will do the same for you. Operating in the heart of our nation’s capital, and 800 members strong, our chapter is well positioned to connect you to the people, organizations, certifications and programming you need to approach your career challenges.

We’re putting the finishing touches on our 2018-19 program calendar now, but here are a few highlights:

  • Wednesday, November 28: Experiential Marketing with Brad Nierenberg of Red Peg Marketing
  • January 2019: All Member Meeting
  • February 2019: The Agile Brand with Greg Kilhstron of Yes&
  • March – May 2019: Three-Part Knowledge Series and Brown Bag Luncheons
