This invitation-only executive group, developed by the board of the American Marketing Association’s DC chapter and leading senior marketers, is comprised of marketing leaders from the area’s largest corporations and nonprofits.

Members of the Executive Marketer Leadership Circle (EMLC) share a desire to connect with peers in an environment of trust and confidentiality, and to enhance their executive leadership skills through idea exchange and unique learning opportunities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? ELIGIBILITY AND FEES

Membership in the EMLC is offered to a limited number of C-suite and executives from the DC/MD/VA metro area who are responsible for the full communications and marketing operation of a qualifying corporate/commercial, nonprofit organization, or government entity. We use the following factors to determine if eligibility meets the criteria for the leadership circle:

  • Members must hold one of the following titles (or the equivalent): Chief Communications/Marketing Officer, EVP/SVP/VP, Managing Director, or Partner.
  • Lead a marketing team with a minimum of two full-time employees.
  • Marketing business owners, consultants, and agency partners who have a minimum of two clients who are responsible for a marketing team of three people each are also invited to apply.
  • Can commit to attending our group’s meetings and events on a regular basis.

 

PRICING 

  • Executive members pay an annual fee of $795.
  • A $50 fee for signature events with dinner.

All fees are due and payable at the beginning of each membership term. Dinner events are pay-as-you-go

  • Up to six exclusive CMO-only events, either in-person or virtual.
  • Private receptions in conjunction with select AMA signature events.
  • Speaking opportunities at AMADC membership events.
  • Access to AMA resources, discipline-specific white papers, research reports, etc.
  • Opportunity to bring a guest to any event, in-person or virtual, at no extra charge (the fee for the dinner events is also $50 for each guest).
