Hello Marketers!
If you’re going to lead, lead a change. That’s what I believe, and each member of this year’s board was selected to be a part of our AMADC team because they have the talent, drive and heart to do the same.
After eight years as an AMA member and AMADC volunteer, I’m honored to take on the role of president for our chapter and your greater marketing community. This is going to be an AMA-zing year! Building on the foundation that was first laid three years ago, and furthered last year under our Immediate-Past President Brent Hayhurst, we’ll continue our work to strengthen our membership base, offer incredible programming and networking, and establish key partnerships and connections centered around creating ONE community under the new “One AMA” brand. We’ll also be laser-focused on operational effectiveness, succession planning and fiscal responsibility for the long-term health and growth of our chapter. That’s my commitment: to leave the chapter better than we found it.
If you’re new to AMADC or have been looking for opportunities to increase your visibility in the DC marketing community, read on for a few upcoming ways to do just that.

One of the most rewarding AMADC membership benefits is serving as a volunteer. With 11 committees to choose from, you have no shortage of opportunities to increase your visibility – and have fun at the same time.
Thank you for being a part of AMADC and for allowing me the opportunity to give back to a community that has been so generous and instrumental in my personal and professional growth. I’m very excited about the journey ahead as we work together to build a solid future of our chapter and DC-area marketers.
