Marketers is a one-month program designed to provide entry-level
and mid-level career professionals with an opportunity to gain
invaluable career guidance and enhance their networking skills.

As a mentor, you’ll be matched with a protégé who shares your career
interests. Throughout the program, you and your protégé will work
together to help him or her achieve specific career objectives.
Mentoring provides significant benefits. As a mentor, you will be:

- Giving back and contributing to a future marketers career
- Self-fulfilled and rewarded
- Having fun and fostering creativity
The program requires your attendance at four weekly sessions. Each
week, we will begin with a featured speaker and exercises designed to
help both mentors and protégés pursue a successful and productive
careers as marketers. After this 30-minute exercise, mentors and
protégés will have 45 minutes to meet one-on-one to work on the
protégé’s defined objectives.
Sessions will take place at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, 1625 Massachussetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC on the following dates:
Tuesday, April 19
Tuesday, April 26
Tuesday, May 3
Tuesday, May 10
Mentor qualifications:
Mentors should have at least 8-10 years of professional experience in
marketing advertising, PR or market research. Mentors are required to
attend each weekly evening program, and should be available for ad-hoc
contact with their protégé during the month.
