#ThankYourMentorDay

Following an evening of knowledge sharing and networking on Mon. January 22, when our Mentor Program experts — Alex and David, Carol and Doug, Holly and Audrey, and Jim and Wendy — provided attendees a deep dive into creative campaign development, crisis communications, personal branding and market research, we are celebrating!

Thursday, January 25 is #ThankYourMentor day, a special 24 hour event that is part of the annual National Mentor Month celebration. We’re showing our gratitude for the people who guide us, counsel us and help us progress toward our goals.

WDCEP

The Mentor Program exists thanks to the generosity of sponsors who believe in what we’re doing. Our 2017-2018 presenting sponsor is Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP).

WDCEP is a non-profit, public-private organization whose core purpose is to actively position, promote, and support economic development and business opportunities in Washington, DC. WDCEP partners with public and private organizations that contribute to the economic ecosystem of Washington, DC. From entrepreneurs and artists to budding technology gurus and non-profit visionaries, WDCEP provides guidance and assistance from start-up to expansion. WDCEP’s mission is to help all businesses and business leaders thrive in D.C. Developing an inclusive and strong workforce directly supports this vision, so we are thrilled to partner with AMADC’s Mentor Program, which demonstrates a consistent commitment to the development of the marketing, media and communications sector through the exchange of resources, information and networks.
