(Washington, DC – July 23, 2013) The American Marketing Association – Washington, DC Chapter (AMADC) recently updated its brand identity system. The launch of the new logo and accompanying tagline is commensurate with the start of the association’s 2013-14 fiscal year.

AMADC’s previous logo had been established expressly for the organization’s 80th anniversary, which was celebrated in 2012.

“The new identity system reinforces the value that AMADC intends to provide to its members in the coming year,” said Brian Rutter, President of AMADC. “It maintains the bold red and black of the prior system, but emphasizes growth and upward trajectory, which members have told us is what they expect from us.” Rutter added: “Our new tagline, Get Ahead, summarizes what we believe is the goal of our members and how AMADC intends to help them achieve it.”
