AMADC and WDCEP will join forces to advance entrepreneurship and business creation within the Washington, DC business community by cross-promoting and co-sponsoring several education programs and events for the 2010-2011 year.


Oct. 25, 2010, WASHINGTON–The American Marketing Association-DC Chapter (AMADC) today announced its partnership with the Washington, DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP). AMADC and WDCEP will join forces to advance entrepreneurship and business creation within the Washington, DC business community by cross-promoting and co-sponsoring several education programs and events for the 2010-2011 year.

“AMADC is excited and honored to be joining voices with Washington DC Economic Partnership to host the latest in business, marketing trends, educational offerings and special networking events to the Washington, DC metropolitan professionals,” said April E. Simons, AMADC vice president of chapter development.

The WDCEP and AMADC partnership will kick-off with the upcoming WDCEP Annual Meeting & Development Showcase (AMDS), held at 10:00 am on November 19, 2010 at the Washington Convention Center. AMDS attracts 600+ professionals from the real estate and development industries and local government officials. As the largest event of its kind in DC, AMDS showcases the majority of the organizations that drive economic development in Washington, DC.
