Note From the Board

Welcome 2011! It’s a new year and with each new year comes new energy, new hope, new marketing plans and – even better – new budgets! Starbucks has unveiled a new logo and so far it’s been well received by customers. Groupon has purchased pre-game spots for the Super Bowl as the company shifts its strategy to more “traditional” marketing channels. And, Apple announced a partnership with Verizon to offer the iPhone, for real this time.

This is also a great time to reflect and to think about giving back. In December, AMADC launched its Philanthropy efforts with an inaugural Holiday Giving Party. Our partners were overwhelmed by the generosity of our members in donating books, toys and hundreds of other items to Turning the Page and Safe Shores. You will hear a great deal of buzz about our new partner, TapRoot, and several great initiatives that are expected to roll out this spring.
