Bates Creative leads effort to rebrand AMADC through renewed identity and improved resources for AMADC members.

February 23, 2016 – Washington, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMADC) announced today that Bates Creative agreed to serve as a Presidential Sponsor and Agency of Record to AMADC throughout 2016. This marks the third year Bates Creative has partnered with AMADC, with this year’s relationship expanding to include Bates Creative serving as agency of record as the firm leads the creative efforts behind AMADC’s rebrand.

As I write this, the groundhog just learned that spring is a comin’.

It strikes a funny chord with me that given all of the complex weather models and storm tracking software that was used to predict the 2016 Blizzard, we somehow return to Punxsutawney Phil to tell us how much longer we’ll need to wear heavy coats and keep the ice scraper in the glove compartment of the car. Anyway, each year it’s fun to wait and see what Phil will show us and decide if he’s right in the end. No one ever gets mad at Phil for making a prediction that didn’t come true. He’ll never get fired — if he’s wrong, who actually cares in the end? Spring shows up sooner or later. We are basically relying on a rodent to tell us what the future holds.

AMADC Announces Partnership With Mediabarn

April 1, 2015 – Washington, D.C. – The D.C. Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMADC) is pleased to announce its partnership with Mediabarn. As part of this year-long partnership, Mediabarn conducted two focus groups with AMADC members and non-members. The research looked at participants’ expectations and satisfaction with AMADC, along with opportunities to add value to membership.

February 17, 2015 – Washington, D.C. – The DC Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMADC) announced today that it has partnered with Blue Fusion Creative & Marketing, a fully integrated marketing and communications agency that specializes in branding, creative, multimedia, digital, video and marketing services, as its agency of record (AOR). As part of this partnership, Blue Fusion will help AMADC with strategic membership communications by providing creative design and marketing services.
