From the Desk of Regan Lamb, AMADC President

An amazing year… an incredible honor… a whirlwind experience. Looking back at the past twelve months, I am filled with gratitude. Having the opportunity to lead AMADC and to serve as president during the 2016-2017 year is an experience I will not forget.

During the past year, I had the privilege of working along-side inspiring and dedicated volunteers. Together, we focused on increasing member engagement and on driving home the value of membership! We delivered exciting, engaging, and varied programming! We created energy and buzz in the DC marketing community!

While we built upon a solid foundation of excellence and brought goals and mission of AMADC to life, I had the chance to meet some of the smartest, most creative, interesting and fun marketers in the DC area.

A huge thanks to the 2016-2017 Board of Directors  who gave their time and their expertise to ensure success. Their dedication has driven our organization forward and has made a positive impact on our community.

As we move into the new year, it is my honor to pass the torch to the next AMADC president, Brent Hayhurst. Brent is an incredible asset to AMADC and has proven time and again his dedication and his desire to create a meaningful experience for our members. He is a strong leader and will continue the forward trajectory of the organization. We are also lucky to have Stephanie Sikorski as the President-Elect. With her creativity and attention to detail, I know that she will continue to elevate the AMADC experience.

There is a lot going on – and as the year winds down, in our organization exciting programming doesn’t stop! I hope that I will get the chance to thank you in person over the next month and into the next year for you involvement in our organization. If you haven’t joined or renewed your membership, there couldn’t be a better time.

Please join us on June 12 as we celebrate the past, present and future of mentoring. We are thankful for Atlas Brew Works, Twomentor and Green Plate Catering for sponsoring this interactive event. Get a taste of mentoring with speed mentoring, have some fun designing appetizers or simply kick-back and learn more about what we do!

I also look forward to seeing you at Dirty Habit on June 20th as we celebrate a wonderful year and new beginnings (and a continuation of great experiences) at our Summer Soiree: Shake and Stir It Up.

Thank you for an amazing year,

Regan
