Doug Reed is Vice President, Marketing for NACS, The Association for Convenience and Fuel Retailing, and in his position oversees the association’s marketing department and its related functions.
Prior to joining NACS, Reed was the director of interactive technology at OTM Partners, a 2009 M Award winning marketing and communications firm based in Arlington. Reed also has retail small business experience, serving as owner/operator of the local, an Irvington, Va.-based restaurant. Earlier in his career, Reed held positions at Capital One and Collegiate Funding Services focusing on professional development and performance improvement and also spent five years as a teacher in the Henrico County (Va.) Public Schools system.
Reed earned an M.Ed. in instructional technology from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in education from Southern Illinois University. He is a past president of the International Society for Performance Improvement, D.C. Chapter (ISPIDC), and current president of the American Marketing Association, D.C. Chapter (AMADC).
