The ThinkFood Discussion Table Networking Series sponsored by José Andrés' ThinkFoodGroup AND DC Magazine is a new innovation for the AMADC marketing community. Equal parts networker and thought provoking discussion, the ThinkFood Discussion Table invites AMADC members to take part in a conversation with industry leaders and marketing peers to meet and discuss marketing's hot topics with industry trendsetters in an intimate and upscale dining atmosphere. The events will rotate monthly to a different ThinkFoodGROUP location, and will always be held on the last Tuesday of the month – except this month, due to Passover.
Mentoring is a powerful device that helps rising marketers develop new insights into the profession. The program is designed to provide entry-level and mid-level career professionals with an opportunity to gain invaluable career guidance and enhance their networking skills through a one-on-one partnership with a devoted professional while participating in workshops and off-site exercises.
The 2010 program will feature four weeks of weekly session assignments (held each Tuesday) on the following dates:
Tuesday, March 2
Tuesday, March 9
Tuesday, March 16
Tuesday, March 23
This year's program will focus heavily on career management this year, with speakers and exercises designed to help guide protégés through unemployment/job change/job search tracks.

Businesses, associations and government agencies are now on Twitter – some have 1000’s of followers. How does that relate to additional sales or affect the businesses bottom line?
Come out and meet national and local social marketing experts as they discuss the future of the web. It is social marketing? How does that affect marketing professionals? How does it affect ROI? It is measurable?
