About the Program:
This event will provide you with the framework to improve traditional and social media content for global audiences. Tucker Multimedia will explore how to use everyday technology and social media to allow for the creation of traditional products that deliver impact for international and domestic clients.
About the Speaker:
Mike Tucker, CEO, Tucker Multimedia, LLC
Mike Tucker is a two-time winner of regional Emmy Awards for writing and producing. He creates distinctive print, broadcast, and online products through his company, Tucker Multimedia LLC, and teaches the Politics and Communications seminar for the Capitol Hill Internship Program. He is a former assistant professor of journalism at Howard University and has taught and lectured at Bowie State University, Jackson State University and Brigham Young University.
He earned a Master of Arts from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College in New York. Tucker’s clients include AARP, Advertising Age, the American Advertising Federation, the Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention, and Reading Is Fundamental. His reporting, writing and production experience includes The Detroit News, USA Today, and WUSA-TV. He is a former press secretary in the U.S. House of Representatives and fellow at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla.
